The Android Camera 3: Monochrome

Salam.

Boredom and uncertainty make me retreat to my hobbies. One of them is editing photos. And then, printing and arranging them in photo albums.

This time, I edited photos that I captured on my HTC Desire. In-phone filters are for kids and hipsters.

Here are 8 out of 150 pictures that I printed out in 3R size, all in monochrome or duotone:

No documentation of medical education is complete without a picture of a skull somewhere.
 Enlightened medical student. Literally.
The cat calmly says, "I'm gonna make you pay."
Waiting for turn during the final pro exam.
Only two months gone and I already have the faculty in fuzzy, daguerreotype black and white.
A class with the legend himself - Prof Izham Cheong.
Quick quiz: Find people in this photo.
A parallel world in the reflection.

The images from the smartphone camera are good, but not that great. Plus, some images get cropped rather liberally. That's why I had them printed out in 3R size.

In the end, some of them turned out as expected; some others, better; and the rest, worse.

So tell me, what have you done in your boredom?
